Science Club Update

In term 3, the science club did some interesting activities.

The P3 and P4s did a starch test on some common food items.




The P5 and P6 did a 'magic trick'

Notice how the top layer and the bottom layer of water does not mix ? We can even make the two layers change position.

Actually, it is all just science. The red coloured water is actually saturated salt solution. The yellow coloured water is just normal tap water. Normal tap water has a lower density than saturated salt solution, so it justs floats above it.
