Mini Weather Station

As part of the school's participation in the National Weather Study Project, a mini weather station was installed at the rooftop during the september holidays.

This mini weather station is quite something. It can record temperature, humidity, rate of rainfall, wind speed etc, and transmit the data wirelessly to a console.

The white casing you see on the right of the stations is the solar panel. The weather station runs on solar power.

We will be using it to do a study on the effect of weather on the breeding of butterflies.
