Aaptations for moving in water

Here is an interesting experiment about adaptation.


Three objects of different shapes were pulled through water to see which one reaches the end first.

As it turns out, the streamlined body shape (the one in the centre of the picture) is the winner. This shows that a streamlined body shape moves through water most effectively. Animals like fishes and dolphins have the streamlined body shape to enable them to move through water easily.
