Our Science Room

Here is a pic of our life science room :

Our school has 2 science rooms. One is being used by P3 - P4 and the other by P5 - P6. The one used by the P5 and P6 is known as the life science room, although physical sciences activities are also conducted there.

The life science room is the place where pupils do microscope work. When the P5 pupils are learning about cells, they use the microscopes there. As you may see from the photograph, the back of the room has posters of some famous scientists and their contributions to science. We hope that pupils will learn from these scientists and one day, become great scientists themselves !

We were able to get a computer hooked up in the life science room earlier this year. Teachers can now access the internet or use dataloggers in the life science room.

As you can probably see, we have two DNA models sticking out of the computer.

Most of our science activities are carried out in the science rooms and we will do our best to improve it.
