Playing with electricity

The P5s have started learning about electricity.

This picture shows a closed circuit that some pupils have connected. As you can see, the bulb is not very bright because only one dry cell is used.

This is what happens when you add more dry cells.

More dry cells increase the current in the circuit, therefore the bulb shines brighter. But you can't keep on adding, the bulb will fuse !
